The National Aquarium in Baltimore allowed me to come in before opening and film their jellyfish exhibit for this piece. It was meditative shooting nirvana until a whole busload of third graders came busting in and destroyed my bliss.

I love when Barbara Valentino (Evolving Communications) asks me to make an open for one of the National Medals of Science and Technology shows that she produces. She actually gives me complete creative freedom and accepts the sometimes bizarre results. Most of the time.

This started as an experiment with 3D shapes and evolved into a sort of flat modernist stylistic look. I was trying to complex and simple at the same time.
