Burn to Shine was a collaboration between Brendan Canty and myself. Each film was a curated snapshot the music scene in a particular city at that time. We filmed bands playing in a house or building that was about to be burned or torn down. Each artist played one song without overdubs and then we filmed the destruction of the building. Simple and beautiful.
